Privacy Policy for PicaPick

PicaPick respects user privacy.

PicaPick is a browser extension that lists, filters, selects, and saves images from web pages. The extension processes image URLs, link URLs, image sizes, formats, and related image information found on pages that the user chooses to scan.

PicaPick does not collect, sell, share, or transfer personal information. PicaPick does not send image data, browsing content, page content, browsing history, authentication information, or user input to external servers.

Image detection, filtering, linked image detection, ZIP generation, and download preparation are processed locally in the user’s browser.

PicaPick stores user settings in the browser’s extension storage. These settings may include display language, filter preferences, download options, filename mode, and side panel behavior. These settings are used only to provide and remember the extension’s features.

PicaPick can detect direct links to image files on the current page. It does not crawl linked pages, analyze linked pages, send HEAD requests, or perform additional fetch requests to inspect links.

PicaPick does not perform additional communication to check available storage space.

PicaPick does not use remote code. All JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other extension code are included in the extension package.
