Gemini Enter Key Control is a Chrome and Edge extension that helps reduce accidental Enter-key sends in Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Google Flow, and Google Chat.

It lets users insert line breaks with Enter and send with a selected shortcut such as Shift+Enter, Ctrl+Enter, or Cmd+Enter.

■ Use Enter for line breaks

Use Enter to insert line breaks so you can write long prompts, research notes, and work messages more calmly.

Choose a send action such as Shift+Enter, Ctrl+Enter, or Cmd+Enter.

■ Google Chat on the web

The extension supports Google Chat on the web at chat.google.com. It works in direct messages, group messages, and Spaces.

■ Google Chat inside Gmail

The extension also supports Google Chat input fields displayed inside Gmail. Gmail email composition, reply, forwarding, subject, and search fields are not affected. Google Meet chat is not supported.

■ Google Flow support

In Google Flow chat input fields, you can insert line breaks with Enter and send with your selected shortcut. Google Flow send-key control is currently supported on Windows.
